I totally connect with the idea that most of us Fishers of Men are the least qualified to be doing the kind of work Jesus accomplishes through his followers. I want to say it's miraculous work, but something about that word seems wrong to me, because I think it's what the Father wants to be normal. There's something so sweet about true love and grace and mercy in action; it's so contrary to the "normal" pain and suffering of our fallen world. But I think Jesus would say that incredible folks like those in that mining town are just living life, "fumbling around" in life more abundant. I agree, it's not always the qualified and it's not always a beam of light; it's just people who have decided to live, and that by the power of God.

Oh Thomas and Cristi, if only I could take the credit for these pics. This set of images was taken by Nathan Clendenin. He is one of our interns and a professional photographer...actually an Emmy Award winning photo journalist. It's good to have him on the team documenting EVERYTHING! Unfortunately on this trip to Swaziland all his video gear, photo gear and lap top was stolen. Sometimes it's good to have insurance!

We love and miss you guys.
