What value is in the cross?
What is greater is to share Love in action. Our Sweet Lord made it plan for us by giving forth His only begotten son Jesus Christ to be a public spectacle on the cruel cross.
The apostle Paul explains to the Corinthian believers that it is foolishness to those who are perishing but to believers it is the power of God which brings about salvation. This is the love of God. The past month God has being challenging me concerning our Lord Jesus Christ, His death, burial and resurrection. God has deposited the same Love (agape) in our hearts for us to see the world through God’s eyes. To behold the pain which is around us and be God’s hand on the earth. Also to ministry eternal life to the poor in spirit, not just touching lives through meeting their physical needs but spiritual needs also. The value which is in the cross is unselfishness. We see this in our master’s life; Jesus Christ lived once in our environment, which is full of selfishness and injustice. The true love from the Father doesn’t seek its own. Paul, the apostle argues with that point to the church at Corinth. This is something which the world will never understand because believers in Christ live their lives to share the testimony of Christ. They extend their hands to help others for the purpose of building the kingdom of God. This month God has taught me to live every single minute in my life for His glory, because every single minute in our lives counts of much value. Jim Elliot was a missionary to South America and was killed while on the mission field. Jim said “He is no fool he who gives what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose”.
Month of April has been a time of reflection on the father’s Love for all human races.
