Transitions
The month of May had exiting spend our time of ministry in South Africa, visiting the Gogos (the grannies) and the youths called “The Call” at Power House in Mamelodi. We had done the games with the youth and a drama called “Sin don’t touch”. It was the time to share the message of Love from the team and encouragement to focus their eyes on Jesus our Lord. The Gogos (the grannies) shared to the team the challenge they have been facing and how through Africa Revolution God has come through for the rescue in time of need. In order to send our voice to the communities, we need to hear their voice; a cry for help and care. And that is what we has a team wants to do first identify the needy in a community and than reach out to them. This month we also went with our new Leader of the Team John Skinner out in the communities of Swaziland to find the feeding points for kids and to find homes for the gogos, who are very old and that they can’t even take care of themselves. We had found a couple of them and we have put them on our program.
The challenging part of the month of May is transitional circumstance for the team having Jason and Cara, our Leaders gone back to the States. And now we have the new leaders, John and Jude. It was hard at first knowing that we were to close to Jason and Cara and now it is time for new leaders. But now, it is fine and we are coping up with John and Jude, spending most of our time together in prayer and devotions.
We had also an opportunity to go to Lavumisa and see the ministry over that side for the homeless kids.
Our Lord Jesus Walk on earth with the Heart of Compassion and Love and He passed it to His discples way down through different ages up to our age.
