“I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” -Ezekiel 36:26.
It’s such a great privilege to be here in Swaziland especially this month of January were we are busy preparing the ground as a team.
It’s a serious time of life changing were we are really meeting the Lord outside our comfort zones. I was asking the Lord and myself that “why am I here and what do you want me to do”, and I have seen God answering me when we had a Leadership Retreat with 20 students from one of the local High Schools.
It was a life changing event both to us as a team and to the students, we learned how to work as a team and how to trust your workmates in whatever you will be doing. The more time we spend together with the kids the better we understand them, so they became open to us pouring out what was on their hearts. On the last night of the event God was having a plan for this day and we started to worship and there was an out pouring of the Holy Spirit were by the kids started to weep uncontrollable because of the presence of the Holy Spirit in the house.
The kids started to confess how they were abused sexually and physically in their life it was a touching moment where by grief and unforgiveness was being taken away and children’s hearts were being healed. Burdens were lifted off people’s shoulders and the captives were set free. We have learnt how to overcome our giants in life and to overcome the greatest fears in life; it was tremendous.
Above all I just want to say God is at work and He is busy restoring the broken hearts and restoring hope in our brothers and sisters here in Africa. I just ask for your prayers because God is raising a mighty army here in Swaziland and restoring the lost hope in his children through his servants like you and me.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn…” – Isaiah 61:1-2

Hi Clever,
I’m Katie’s mom. Your blog post was really encouraging. I’m so glad that God is working to make your team unified in Him. Thanks for being a big brother for Katie. She tells me that you have a real heart for preaching God’s word. I’m praying for all of you!
