Praise God for March
Blessed be the name of the Lord in this month of March. We visited one of the nearby community were we found a widow staying alone and we planted a garden for her, it has different types of vegetables. It took us 2 days to complete it but it was so wonderful. The following week we visited the same community and we went to a community Pastor who is on the wheelchair for the past 24 years. Regardless of his handicap he loves the Lord wholeheartedly and being with him taught me many lessons. It was an honor to sit down with him and share the Word of God and hear him tell us about his past. We started to build his new house because his old house was falling down, it was a good project which we haven’t yet finish, but soon it will be complete.
At the hospital visits God is using us so mightily. People they always wait for us every Tuesday so that we may share the Word of God with them… We went to the hospital and found a woman who was involved in a car accident and she couldn’t talk or walk and we prayed for her. The following week we visited the hospital we found her talking and eating but no one visited her because she was from South Africa. Her relatives were not aware of the accident, we phoned her mum in South Africa letting her know and soon after she came to see her. Many people are giving their lives to Jesus Christ every week and those which were not having strong relationship with Jehovah they are being revived and become more serious about God.
We serve with a ministry called the Luke Commission. It’s a mobile hospital which goes around the community treating the patients. We joined them 3 times this month and we were starting 0800hrs and finish 2300hrs treating different people. Some are HIV positive and some are having TB.
As a team we are getting to know each other better by each day, what a team for 2011!!!
