Hungry
We were at the farm taking the trash to throw in the pit down at the back of our yard. In the distance were about twelve kids from the community, about 8-12 year olds, looking for food in the trash pit. We draw close and they were about to run away, but we waved at them, to be friendly to them and they just stood. It was sad to see those kids. The question which was in me was; what makes them see trash as precious food? Hunger!
One of them had a huge wound on his forehead and blood was gushing out. We asked him what happened. He was speaking siSwati and our brother Clever spoke with him in siSwati. He said they where fighting, stoning each other. We took him with all the other kids to get medical attention. The rest of the kids we had them sit at Allan’s house and He gave them cookies.
It was amazing to see these kids happy because they had been ministered to not just in word but more than word. Love reaches with actions.
