What a month full of activities (challenging). This was the month when we had to face the departure of Jason and Cara from our team going back to America. It was a sad time but for me John 16vs7-11 came into my mind. To show the love we had for him we took him to South Africa to the airport and we also planned to stay in South Africa for a week to do ministry in the township of Mamelodi (Pretoria), partnering with Powerhouse church where Clever and I are members. It was a good time of ministry where we centered on the youth and the old grannies’ was exciting to see how God is changing the lives of his people through his word. We did some games and dramas with the youth and it was so powerful. In our interaction with the grannies, they shared their problems to us which we listened to though some needed financial help, but we gave them what we had, which was the love of Christ. Acts 3vs1-10

We came back to Swaziland to meet Jon and Jude, and the new era began. We had a meeting with them and it was a positive meeting with the way forward. It was good that we revisited all the areas where we were lacking and even introduced new programs like finding feeding points in the community where we will go and serve. We also introduced street evangelism where we will go in the streets of Swaziland’s capital city, Mbabane and preach to the people of which we have already started and it was good. On this day I found out that people know that there is Christ but they have “facts” to defend themselves not to follow Christ. We also visited Lavumisa, an orphanage again run by Challenge Ministries and it was good serving there and sees what God is doing in other people’s lives.

In this month I was also touched by the teachings that we had in our home group, with the outstanding one being the one led by Jon where he asked the group to find ways from the bible in which God speaks to us(1sam3vs1-4,Heb1vs1,Dan5vs25,Ex3vs4 etc)It was a wonderful teaching!

Most importantly, I see myself growing spiritually by being part of this A.R group. Facing different kinds of people and situations teach me a lot of things. I m now a warrior in fasting and praying which I enjoy most. Be blessed by this message and hope it will touch your lives to start investing in the Kingdom. LUKE 21vs36.

MAY MY GOOD GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!

What a month/season which have just passed. The Easter holiday where we celebrated the death and resurrection of Christ. We took some time off and we were in Mozambique for a vacation. Our interaction with other people of different cultures was of paramount importance to us. We also had some time off from Luke’s Commission but we are back and all is well. We are only faced with a big storm which is trying to push our boat away. It is the change of leadership and some other small issues in the ministry but we know that God will make a way for us. I think this is only challenging us to stay focused and trust in God. I also battled with my mind(the devil was whispering to me that I m a sinner judging me on my past) but the lord reminded me that…..i said when you are in me you are a new creation!

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5vs17).

Let not your past haunt you, you are a new creation!

Love you, God bless.

A SERVANT”S HEART

It’s good to be served but its best to serve. The bible says blessed is the hand that gives than the one that receives. But all in all serving and giving must be out of LOVE for it to be fruitful.

March was quite a busy month in which I learned quite a number of things. We went to finish building the house of our community pastor (Bemba). His remarks after we finished just opened my mind to say I should serve out of God’s love. As a servant, you must not serve out of your own love but with God’s love.

I also attended three sessions of Luke’s Commission. It is a mobile clinic (free to all) around rural Swaziland, run by a couple (Harry and Echko). In every session we serve from 7am to as late as 3am. If you think of serving out of your love, you might miss it but with God’s love, everything is possible.

We are also pressing on in the hospital ministry. We are going to government hospitals to pray for the sick. I have discovered that some people don’t have anyone to care for them in the hospital. The moment you arrive wearing Jesus’ armor, you will see a change. In this ministry miracles are happening through God’s power. Walking in town, I was touched to meet some of the patients we had prayed for back in the hospital. They had been completely healed and they were able to identify us. I felt that my prayer was answered when I say “God, let people see you through me and let the glory and honor be to you.”

We wrapped up the month by going to Kruger national park in South Africa (A wildlife game reserve). I thought it was only going to be just fun, but I was surprised when I started praising God and appreciating His nature/creation. During this trip God also taught me to be humble, patient and trust unto him (Galatians 5vs22).

To be a servant does not mean feeding or offering health facilities to billions or thousands of disadvantaged people, if you don’t do it out of love (God’s), it is in vain. Let us serve with a servant’s heart and know that all the glory and honor is unto Jehovah. He assuredly promised us a crown. (Corinthians 15vs58)

Keep on doing the good work in Christ and keep focused to the cross

BLESS YOU

David was a man after God’s heart. This man was having a repentant heart and in everything that he does he inquired from the Lord. It is up to us as missionaries in everything that we do to inquire from the Lord and cry unto God that he answers our prayers. Missionary work must be understood as work not to bear fruits for our own benefit but for the glory of the kingdom of GOD. Romans 7vs4.

The month of February was busy and God was at work. We are growing in the Hospital ministry everyday and we are seeing the power of God as people are getting healed. We are also dealing with the youth and they are responding well to the ministry and a lot of they are been saved. We also had a wonderful time in the community helping the old and the disabled to do their gardens fencing and planting seedlings for them.

It was a pleasure to meet one of our disabled pastor in the community and hear his testimony of what the Lord has done for Him in his 24yrs since he was paralyzed. God continued to provide and blessing Him.  (Philippians 1:6,9)

I was also blessed this month by reading a book by Duane Elmer (cross cultural servant hood) it also motivated me and taught me some principles as a servant. It impacted my life and thinking as a servant.

It is my prayers that in whatever we do let us keep focused and forget about ourselves concentrate on serving for the glory of the kingdom of God. Trials and tribulations might come in the way but let us keep focused.( 1 Timothy 6:11).
