Throw a PARTY!!!

June 29th, 2011 by Allan

We have thrown a few parties for fun and have always been taken a back at what a big impact they seem to have on the lives of all the kids and the community. It is also remarkable to see the little resources we’ve had for such events be stretched out, and still create a beautiful event for so many. Here is an opportunity to rejoice with those who long to rejoice in the midst of some very difficult circumstances. By the way this is a great group giving opportunity. (Perhaps your small group or friends.) We will do our best to share pics with you too!

Care Fund

June 28th, 2011 by Allan

Orphan and Widow Care Fund

Currently* our Vision Year teams partner with local churches that have responded to the need in their community by building orphan homes or providing supplemental care. AR comes alongside those already existing entities and supports the good work they are already doing.  We provide man power and additional resources.  This fund allows our ministry to dispense the correct care once it has been identified. This is a wonderful heart warming opportunity to see how so little can go so far!

Transportation in Africa

November 1st, 2010 by Allan

All donations are 100% tax deductible.
We have come to realize that a reliable, sturdy vehicle is our primary tool to facilitate all our ministry. It enables us to to get the job done!  Whether our team is doing rural medical missions or community outreach, we are totally dependent on our vehicle.

Our current bus has been an incredible blessing… but it’s 20+ years on all sorts of potholed roads in Africa have taken their toll and is breaking down on us more than we care to share. Everyone knows how important it is to be able to get around. In Africa it is impossible to do our work without a reliable vehicle. Our staff and Vision Year volunteer teams are in desperate need of a good van. Here is a great opportunity to give to something that will make a world of difference to teams of missionaries on the front line!

(p.s. I cannot overstate how URGENT this need is!)

Or you can mail in a check to our P.O. Box. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Education Scholarships

September 15th, 2009 by Allan

It is our desire to come alongside individuals and families whom are striving to educate themselves and their children. By simply supporting them with a small scholarship we have seen that be the encouragement needed to propel them forward. Education opens doors and enriches people’s lives. By sponsoring a student you can create an opportunity some may never have. Give the opportunity of education for only $50!

Warm Meals for Empty Stomachs

September 10th, 2009 by nathan

Warm Meals Help fill empty stomachs by supporting this on going project. $50 provides a lot of food for hungry children. The churches we are serving have shown a beautiful enthusiasm to do as much as they can with the little that they have. Feeding schemes run by volunteers provide much needed meals for children in their communities, helping them go to sleep without an empty stomach. This is a gesture to show the love of God to a hungry community who now sees the church care through action and not just words.

Computer Project

September 10th, 2009 by nathan

Computer Project Donate your old computer or buy a new one and let it help transform a community. Developing people through skills training empowers them. Training people in basic computer skills and word processing will open up avenues for job opportunities in their future. Introductory and Advanced computer classes are offered by the church for people in the community. This amazing opportunity is made possible by individuals like you, sending us your old computers. If you have one you would like to donate, contact us about picking it up or dropping it off. Or click here for directions for mailing.

Through a great technology called N-computing we can now setup a computer lab for a fraction of the normal cost. Your donation of $125 is enough for an entire workstation. $1,375 is enough for half a lab with 11 workstations, and $2,750 is enough to setup an entire lab with 22 work stations!

Bike Project

September 10th, 2009 by Allan

Bike Project Bikes can be a critical component in advancing development. They are the primary means of transport in most of Sub Saharan Africa. Our partners are using bikes to expand their HIV/AIDS home based care ministry. Those visiting the sick to feed, bathe, encourage and pray with the sick are able to go farther and faster with bikes available to them.

We are also wanting to support youth ministry work with bikes needed in their biking club. A great way to keep kids out of trouble and in good care.

If you have one, two or more, that you would like to donate, contact us about picking it up or dropping it off. Or click here for directions for mailing. If you would like to donate financially, please do so below. Thank you.
