Its been a good couple of
weeks; our fifth team member, Will Brown has arrived. we're
glad he's
We've also sealed a partnership with our local grocery store whom has begun giving food donations for the church's Food Pantry, every Tuesday. This means we've had many more chances to visit people in the community, pray with them, and actually have food to bring them as well, which has been so wonderful and powerful ... one of our team members had an orphan child come up to him the next day and say, "chicken, thank you", while rubbing his tummy. Rebecca and Annie were able
to be part of a planning team that organized a women's
brunch for "Heritage Day," which is a big national
holiday here, September 24th. We had around 130 women
show up for the brunch Wednesday, the church was packed
out! The day was designed to be both an outreach, as
well as just a fun way for the women to fellowship and
enjoy each other. Everyone came in traditional dress
from their own tribes, it was SO beautiful. For SEVEN
hours, we sang, prayed, danced, heard teaching on
Biblical perspective on culture and
